FAQs

How Long Does A Commission Take?

This question is hard to answer because there is no set amount of time. The time it takes for a finished art piece is highly dependent on the size of the project, the materials used and the complexity of the artwork. I do not work on a timeline, because I feel that when you rush art it doesn’t leave room for perfection.

What About Colors, Do I Get To Pick Them?

We will absolutely discuss a color palette. In our conversations you will tell me about the room the painting will be going in and perhaps even provide photos for me to reference. Based on our conversations I will create a color palette for you to approve. From there I will do my best to stay within the agreed upon colors from your custom palette.

Does A Commissioned Piece Require A Deposit?

Yes, I require a $100 deposit to get started on your custom piece. This helps with my material costs and holds your place in line. This will be billed to you after a verbal agreement to commission a piece. The $100 goes towards your final bill.

Do You Frame All Commissioned Pieces?

I have a very talented husband who is a carpenter, so I am able to give my clients one of a kind, gorgeous, real wood frames. So yes, I do frame all my artwork. I do let you help choose the color of the frame. If for some reason you do not want your artwork framed just let me know.
